If we haven’t met, I’m Felicia Keller Boyle, aka The Bad Therapist®.

I've been exactly where you are: resentful, buried in student debt, feeling guilty, lying to myself that I didn't want more, alone, and tired of ignoring the voice inside me that kept on saying “this ain't it."

Not only have I built a cash-pay, six-figure private practice with only 15 clients working Tuesday through Thursday during the hours of my choosing, I've looked into every deep dark nook and cranny of myself to develop a method for making money and serving your clients in the best, most ethical, and uplifting way possible.

When I got out of graduate school, I was buried in student debt and undercharging, and was subsidizing my salary by walking dogs and cleaning houses.

As most therapists do, I was quickly headed to burn out and realized that this couldn’t possibly be the result of all my hard work, school, and clinical hours. I refused to sacrifice my life to a system that didn’t work, so I took out a $2,000 loan from a friend, got an office, and set up shop as a privately practicing therapist.

As I evolved through my own personal journey as an entrepreneur, I was able to create a business that fueled my soul, lined my pockets, and ethically served my clients–helping them achieve levels of wellness beyond what I could have done in any other setting.

  • We meet three times per month for 50 minutes, typically during the first three weeks of the month.

  • Yes! My private clients get a private text and voice memo chat with me so you can get support when you most need it. Have a call coming up with a potential client? In the midst of a contract negotiation? Just got an email from your assistant that they can’t keep working with you? In these moments when you need support now, not next week, having a direct line to your coach who knows you, your patterns, and your business can be the difference between spinning out and self sabotaging or making the right decision.

  • In order to support your business’ sustained growth and change, we work together for 9 months. At the end of those 9 months you have the option to renew your contract, transition to a different container with me, or graduate.

  • That is up to you! Most clients focus on increasing revenue, working less, creating and sticking with an effective marketing strategy, getting new clients, and working more efficiently in their businesses. I like to say having a business coach is like having a cofounder in your back pocket. I get to know you and your business intimately and can advise you on every aspect of your business as well as connect you with other resources and trusted experts.   • I’ve worked with many clients who are pregnant or become pregnant during our time together. If you are going to give birth during our 12 month contract you have the option to reduce the frequency of your coaching to one session per month for up to 3 consecutive months and extend the length of your coaching without your base rate cost increasing. Basically we’d take one of your months of coaching (three calls) and stretch it across three months (one call per month for three months). After that we’d resume our typical frequency to finish out your contract. I love working with expecting and new parents to help them craft businesses that work for their lives and their families.

  • Private coaching clients pay a monthly base rate of $1,750 plus 10% of new revenue.

  • High level coaching can be very expensive (some coaches charge multiple thousands of dollars per month). When your business isn’t earning a lot of money or you're just starting out, paying those coaching rates may be unattainable. I’ve chosen to keep my monthly rate lower so I can give therapists at every stage of business the support they need to level up their business.

    In order to keep my rates as low as I do, your coaching rate includes 10% of new revenue.

    Here's how it works:

    Prior to starting coaching together, we determine what your monthly revenue is. Let's say it's $5k/month starting out. In our first month of coaching together, your revenue increases to $6k! That's a difference of $1k ($1k of NEW revenue). That means you will be invoiced for $100 (10% of your NEW revenue). Let's say in month two of coaching together you take some time off or you're down a client and your revenue dips to $4,500. There was no new revenue this month so you won't receive an invoice at all and will only make your monthly base payment. You are only invoiced for revenue share during the length of our contract, not forever. lol

    I love the flexibility this creates for business owners making high level coaching accessible to business owners at every stage. This ensures you’re never stuck with a massive bill on a month that you're earning less, taking time for vacation, or spending time with your baby!

  • I don’t offer refunds but I will always give you my best and show up for you and your big dreams. If for some reason you are having trouble with payments, please talk to me about it. Since we will be working together so closely I will probably already know that you are having issues and we will likely be working on a plan together not just to support you in fulfilling your contract but more importantly having what you need to sustain and enjoy your life. My goal as your business coach is ultimately to help you make money in a way that feels good to you, lights you up, and sustains you.
